That's what I read anyway.
More manuals to read = less time actually making music = less releases. Besides, if you make good music using your existing gear, why upgrade unnecessarily? Familiarity with equipment makes it easier to translate inspiration into reality, basically. Besides, "if it ain't broke don't fix it!"
