Whatever it would be it would need to be something very different to what they already do. Perhaps that's why they've ended up doing Desertshore.

Kraftwerk wouldn't exactly be pushing them into areas outside their comfort zone. Nor would Metal Music Machine.

Something like Nico or perhaps Mazzy Star or any of the first 4 Peter Gabriel albums would be interesting just from the point of view of seeing what they come up with.

Or TG play The Madcap Laughs or New Boots and Panties.
