Hey Fredrik~I agree with you 100%...for once! : ) And why do they keep saying (& made it) "777 copies, just like the original" I'm sorry, but the original was 785 copies!! I mean I know their in their 50's, but their NOT senile! You mean to say that TG doesnt remember how many copies of the 1st edition of 2nd AR were made in 1977??I find that a bit hard to believe! If they put out a CD edition of it, between 20 and 35 pounds or so, I would rush out & order it in a HEARTBEAT! BTW~ I went back and re-read Sleazy's email...I made a MISTAKE when I said Sleaz said "it costs us HALF of what were charging just to make the LP"....he ACTUALLY said "It cost us MORE than HALF of what were charging to make the LP".HA! I find that impossible to believe....that it cost TG MORE than 60 pounds to make the LP....that is asinine!! And, you know what, WE (the long-time, loyal die-hard TG fans) ARE their market for this & ALL their products....so if we ALL stick together and boycott it and DO NOT BUY IT...no matter what!!I guarantee, they will be FORCED to do 1 of three things, 1) drop the price considerably!!!Or 2) Sell, them off the LP's seperatetly, (without the frame) at a normal price!!Or 3) Sell JUST the extended "black" CD. Because they HAVE to make SOME $$ off of it...and if NO-ONE buys, that is what WILL happen, I promise you!So if we do this (I for one, as well as at least over a dozen other people I know are going to boycott), we will be killing 2 birds with one stone...because they'll realize they fucked up big-time with this ridiculous, "slap in the face" price...and thus, in the future, they will make SURE to NOT charge anymore crazy prices...and any future TG releases WILL be at a MUCH more reasonable price!I mean, seriously, has anyone ACTUALLY pre-ordered this? Or does anyone PLAN on buying it?I'd reallly like to know...I'm very curious. So, what do you say - Who's with those of us who are boycotting the so called "art-object" LP?
