It was written in a cave in 1645ce by Miyamoto Musashi. He led an interesting life. 8^) In the book, the translation of the book actually, Musashi gives nine principles that lead me to believe that he thinks that is that pure and simple in the 'real world.' 1. Do not think dishonestly. 2. The Way is in training. 3. Become aquainted with every art. 4. Know the Ways of all professions. 5. Distinguish between gain and loss in worldly matters. 6. Develop intuitive judgement and understanding for everything. 7. Perceive those things which cannot be seen. 8. Pay attention even to trifles. 9. Do nothing which is of no use. Of course, 'pure and simple' seems never to be the same as 'easy.' Musashi studied them for thirty years. may all beings realize enlightnement, T.
