That is the location of the largest public |>collection of Crowley material in the USA. |Is it accessible to public or just to OTO? General Public. It's at the U of Texas, Humanities Research Center. Full access may require some scholastic credentials or a kempt appearance and a good act. |Do we have to be a certain degree in the Order to obtain access? No, but if you want to make microfilm or photocopies of the Crowley stuff, you might need a letter from me or Fr. H.B. --- copyright rules in the place. |Make arrangements in advance? Common sense says yes. Call them or contact the O.T.O. group in Austin to find out how they arrange it. |What kinds of things are there? Most of Crowley's books in first editions with his marginal notes. Much of the original old Golden Dawn materials. Some of Crowley's odds and ends, including his hand painted enochian squares. Much correspondence between many. Receipts and contracts relating to Crowley's publishig and bankruptsy. Typescripts of most of Crowley's works up to the mid 1930's, some marked for edit into the first edition Equinox Vol I. by Fuller --- editor of the earlier numbers and one of the major contributors to this particular collection. Typescripts of unpublished Crowley writings, including Shin of Shin, Bennett's Enochian MS note book, more correspondence. Not as major as the public collection in London, of course; but much better than Syracuse U. Since you (Hsi Wang Mu) live close to my place in San Anselmo, you might want to drop by and look at a photocopy of their card catalogue (phone first, my number is in the back of the ML). 93 93/93 Bill
