   The Knowledge and Conversation of the Holy Guardian Angel takes it's 
name from a book called _The Sacred Magic of Abra-Melin_ ---- details in 
the practice are there.
    An on-going presentation of this matter will be found in the _Thelema 
Lodge Calendar_ (being posted to the Pagan Library of R&E)  --- only one 
installment is available in the Library now, with another one pending for 
July.  The style is humorous in presentation, but no disrespect is intended 
to the subject matter.
   There is a presentation in two parts further back in the Crowley folder 
here --- as best memory serves, I uploaded it to post here --- unless I am 
confusing this with some other place.

    On the matter of descent of the Neshamah and the HGA --- this is 
essentially true, up to a point.  The difference has to do with two things:
1. the descent of the Neshamah is also connected with the descent of the 
Shekinah and the Sabbath --- this is not the same thing.
2. All approaches to M'asseh Merkabah will be colored substantially by 
tradition.  This is no exception.
   The closest parallel to the Knowledge and Conversation of the Holy 
Guardian Angel in Traditional or Jewish Qabalah would be found through the 
50 Gates of understanding.  It's not a quick or easy procedure.
