Kali Yuga: Hindu kalpa-system.  I've been hearing that the Kali Yuga is
approximately 5000 years old (perhaps out of 432,000 years), and as I
dedicate my life to Kali I adopted it as a temporal referent.  I may
adjust this as I receive more reliable information (as I did with my
name a few years back ;>).

Not exactly.  More like, look at all of it, engage the kinds of mindstates
which these rites are said to inspire, manifest a ritual-association and
artform which might otherwise be used by people to reach those same
mindstates.  I guess I feel like I'm creating an entirely different (or
a number of them) symbol-association-schema, and I don't intend to 'use'
it for anything.  It is an expression of my shamanism.

However, as it manifests I'm using elements of all the traditions I've
studied, and thus it sometimes appears to be an alternative 'system' to
the ceremonial equivalents.  It is like creating a language to talk to
the deep mind while engaging it directly rather than talking to the deep
mind with the goal of engaging it directly. ;>
