It is about four feet high at the most, but is carved out of natural stone. I'm also not sure it is an exact replica of Stonehenge. Also, before people spend money to go out to the one in Washington State on the Columbia river, they should know that it is made out of Concrete, and does not have the weathered feel of the natural stone of the real Stonehenge. I was quite disappointed when I went out to it. It is also "complete", i.e., all the vertical stones and capstones are in place. Thus, it is more of a model of how people speculate Stonehenge looked thousands of years ago. Also, the concrete pillars are rectangular. In my opinion, many modern concrete bridges are more attractive. Peace, Donn -- ----------------- Don Chambers (chambers@csr.utexas.edu) 471-5573 Univ. of Texas Center for Space Research
